News Story
We are pleased to announce that a new hearing loop has been installed and is now available to use during all of our performances at Theatre Royal Wakefield.
Access to our hearing loop was previously limited to certain areas of our stalls seating. With our new upgraded system now installed, the hearing loop can be used from any seat in our auditorium.
If you would like to see a show and need to use the hearing loop, these are the steps you will need to follow:
1. Head to the Pre-show ticket sales and collection desk:
Our Box Office team will provide you with a hearing neck loop – no need to book in advance, just show up on the day and we’ll get you sorted. (Just make sure you leave a bit of time before the show so you don’t miss the start)
2. Go and enjoy the show:
Once our Box Office team has set you up, go and take your seats and enjoy the show. If you have any problems with the hearing loop during the show, one of our friendly stewards will be on hand to help.
3. Returning the Hearing Neck Loop:
Once the show is over (and hopefully you’ve had a blast), head out of the auditorium and place the hearing neck loop in the baskets outside the auditorium.
We are so pleased to have this system now up and running, and to continue making improvements to our Theatre's accessibility!
If you have any questions regarding our hearing neck loops, please do get in touch with our Box Office on 01924 211 311, or pop in and we’ll do what we can to help.
