Free Wills Month
Support Us
As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, we've teamed up with local company, SMH Jolliffe Cork, for Free Wills Month.
Throughout March, SMH Jolliffe Cork are offering all patrons who donate to the theatre a free Will writing service.
All you need to do is donate to the theatre via the button below and email development@theatreroyalwakefield.co.uk with the subject line 'Free Wills'. We'll then pass on your details for SMH to contact you directly to set up your free Will creation or updating appointment in March.
Who are SMH Jolliffe Cork?
SMH Jolliffe Cork are a trusted professional services firm based in Wakefield, supporting local businesses and private clients with clear guidance and a friendly service. The Wills & Probate team at SMH Jolliffe Cork is supporting Free Wills Month to help local people plan ahead with clarity and peace of mind. They offer appointments at their Wakefield office, over the phone, teams calls or out at your own home if you are unable to get out.
Why should I donate?
As one of our corporate partners, SMH are supporting us by offering their services in aid of fundraising for the theatre. All funds raised will go towards supporting the work we do with the local community. It's a great opportunity to organise your will and support the theatre at the same time!
How much do I need to donate?
The usual charge to create a single Will is £220+ VAT and a mirror Will (for a couple) is £350+ VAT.* We are accepting any donation size, meaning you could donate £350 (the equivalent cost of a mirror Will creation appointment), £220 (the equivalent cost of a single Will creation appointment), or a smaller donation towards the full cost of a will. Any donation size can secure you an appointment, and can help make a huge difference at the theatre.
Click the button below to donate and email development@theatreroyalwakefield.co.uk to get your Free Wills journey off to a start!
The idea is that your donation lands with us in February to set up your free appointment in March. However, we are accepting donations up until Monday 23rd March for you to secure a last minute appointment at the end of March/beginning of April.
*Please note that if your Will is deemed 'complex' or involves tax or other specialist legal advice, a fee for any additional work will be agreed in advance.
As part of the SMH Group, SMH Jolliffe Cork can offer clients access to a full range of specialist services across Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning, Payroll, Audit, Residential Mortgages, Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, and Wills & Probate.
