News Story

Dear patrons,
Having just completed the Easter leg of our new touring production and enjoying enthusiastic audience responses all over the country, we have been hit with a devastating blow. Thieves broke into our touring vehicle containing all the elements which make the production possible and ransacked its contents on the evening of Saturday 15th April. This is now a police matter who are investigating the theft and the surrounding situation.
As you can imagine, we are currently dealing with an overwhelming sense of responsibility (both financially and personally) as Scott Ritchie Productions is a self-funded independent organisation.
While we count these recent losses, it is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that we are no longer able to present the scheduled performance(s) of ‘Rapunzel’ which was due to take place during the May half term holiday period. We are now working closely with venue management teams to postpone our production to 2024.
As the producers of this show, we are deeply committed to providing an unforgettable experience for our audiences. But due to this unforeseen event, we had to take this very difficult decision. We strongly believe that the show must go on, and we will be back stronger and bigger in 2024.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and we cannot wait to welcome you back to see our incredible show in the future.
Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
Scott Ritchie
