We are delighted to announce the full cast line-up for Wakefield's Very Own Panto! - Jack and The Beanstalk.
Joining Sam Nixon
(playing Jack Trott) and Chris Hannon (playing Tracey Trott and who also writes the panto) on stage for this year’s production will be Chris Chilton as Colin, a pantomime baddie that we promise will bring out the boos and hisses whilst our very own Performance Academy alumni Meg Elsegood
returns for her 5th year to play Jill Trott. Meg also performed in a number of Wakefield Youth Music Theatre shows with us before training at D&B College of Performing Arts.
Then we have another highly skilled home grown musical theatre performer who started out at Theatre Royal Wakefield as part of Wakefield Youth Music Theatre, Bryony Duncan. Bryony will play Belinda Brass, her theatre credits include SIX and Les Miserables in the West End.
She trained at Wakefield College and was once a member of our young theatre-makers programme, In On the Act.
Making their Wakefield stage debuts, and completing our line-up for 2025, are Aiden Carson as Ryan and Londiwe Dhlomo-Dlamini as Gladys Greenfinger (doubling as Vera). Aiden graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and is no stranger to Pantomime, having played the title role in Peter Pan at Nottingham Theatre Royal. Londiwe has extensive theatre credits including appearing in Guys and Dolls, Cabaret and Dreamgirls.
We are sure you'll join us in welcoming them all!
