From Wakefield to the West End!

We're thrilled to hear about Issie, who was part of our Panto Chorus back in 2014 and has now finished her first year-long contract on the West End stage! She's straight into another show contract with Beetlejuice and everyone at Theatre Royal Wakefield is thrilled to see her shine - proof that big dreams can start on our stage.

Whether you're 8 or 80, if you're dreaming of being a West End star, why not take your first steps on our stage? For young people, our Performance Academy is a weekend training session with many opportunities to perform on the TRW stage throughout the year. For those still young at heart, Stepping Out is our weekly musical theatre-focussed group that acts as a creative, supportive, and social space for older people
