We're delighted to announce the first four cast members for our 2026 pantomime, Beauty and the Beast!
Joining us once again are familiar Theatre Royal Wakefield favourites Frankie Bounds, Chris Chilton, Chris Hannon and Sam Nixon, who are all returning to bring plenty of festive fun, laughter and magic to this year's pantomime.
Pantomime regulars Chris, Sam, Frankie and Chris have become firm favourites with Wakefield audiences, helping to create the unique mix of comedy, music and family entertainment that makes our annual pantomime such a special part of the festive season.
Once again, Chris Hannon will be putting his own twist on the much-loved tale of Beauty and the Beast. This festive season, our talented team will transport audiences to Le Wakey, where preparations for the town's Summer Festival are well underway. Expect larger-than-life characters, plenty of laughs, spectacular costumes and all the ingredients for a magical family adventure.
Whether you're a long-time panto fan or planning your first visit to Theatre Royal Wakefield, Beauty and the Beast promises to be packed with everything audiences have come to love about our festive productions, and perhaps a few surprises along the way.
