Purgatory

Wednesday, 17 June, 2020 to Friday, 19 June, 2020
Matcham Auditorium
Purgatory

Mechanics’ Performing Arts return to Theatre Royal Wakefield once again. With their unique style of choreography and full scale dance production.

From the choreographers of Fallen Angel, Beauty Lies Within, Prideland and Wonderland comes Purgatory. A place for unfinished business. A place for souls that have left us and a place for those still needing to help us.

Alina, a young girl moves into a bustling city to start a new life but is drawn to the mystery of one of the city’s darkest parks. Everyone has a past, and she must learn of hers.

Purgatory is a brand-new story full of greed, lust, power, mystery, witchcraft and magic. This is one production not to be missed.

Theatre Royal Wakefield is for everyone in the district. That’s why we are proud to present work from our local community, societies and groups. Book to see local talent on stage.
