What do you do?
I am currently studying on the BA (Hons) Theatre and Performance programme at the University of Leeds. Alongside this, I am a dance tutor at Performance Academy Wakefield as well as teaching and studying for dance examinations at the Caroline Atha School of Dance.

What shows/training did you take part in at Theatre Royal Wakefield and when?
I was a member of Performance Academy Wakefield for two and a half years and absolutely loved my time there.  I performed in the following shows produced by Theatre Royal Wakefield: Les Miserables (2011), Flashdance (2012), Performance Academy Showcase (2012 & 2013), Miss Saigon (2013 & 2014), Jack and the Beanstalk (2013), Oliver! (2014), Beauty and the Beast (2014), Theatre Royal Wakefield Anniversary Gala (2015), Cats! (2015), and Strictly Musicals (2016).

How did being involved with Theatre Royal Wakefield make a difference?
I can’t thank the team at the theatre enough for everything they have done for me. Not only I have I met some incredibly talented friends and gained some amazing memories, I have also experienced working in a professional environment and developed my singing, dancing, acting and confidence to levels I never thought I could. The Performance Academy really made a difference by helping me to prepare for auditions and gave me experiences - such as professional workshops - to consolidate and expand on my knowledge of the industry. Learning at Theatre Royal Wakefield has made a huge difference by encouraging me to always keep going.
