Beth Rosamund

Age: 20

What do you do?
I am currently in my second year training at Arden School of Theatre in Manchester, studying for a degree in Musical Theatre. I am also working as a singing, acting and dance teacher at TV Talent in Manchester.

What shows/training did you take part in at Theatre Royal Wakefield and when?
My first show was West Side Story in 2010 and since then I have been in nine shows with Wakefield Youth Music Theatre. I have also been in Performance Academy shows after training there for a few years.

How did being involved with Theatre Royal Wakefield make a difference?
It has helped me so much and has given me so many amazing opportunities! I have bettered my skills thanks to the theatre and I owe them so much. Without the theatre I don’t think I would be training in Musical Theatre right now. It has also helped me make so many lifelong friends and for that I am so grateful.

Top tip for our current participants?
Enjoy it and grasp every opportunity because it will help you chase your dreams. It helps with confidence, helps improve your skills and will give you some of the best experiences of your life!
