Following a successful 2009 tour Paper Zoo are proud to present their George Orwell double-bill - Animal Farm and 1984.
Paper Zoo present an energetic performance of Animal Farm, this timeless tale of the abuse of power – as relevant in today’s world as it was on the day it was written.
In the second part of the Orwell double-bill, Paper Zoo present one of the writers’ most prolific works – 1984. Published in 1949 Orwell predicted a dystopian future. Making use of a cinema screen, the production encapsulates the drama and fear ever-present in the play. Featuring John Hurt as the on-screen Big Brother.
