The talented students of Wakefield College will once again collaborate with Theatre Royal Wakefield to bring you the Mechanics' Performing Arts Summer Season. Each year, students from across the performing arts and music department showcase their talents in a rip-roaring voyage of theatre, dance and music, at Mechanics’ Theatre, Theatre Royal Wakefield and various music venues within the city.

The winner of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Spring Awakening explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. The landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality and rock and roll that is exhilarating audiences across the nation like no other musical in years.

Performed by Wakefield College Mechanics’ Level 3, 4 and 5 Musical Theatre Students.
