Dreamtime

The talented students of Wakefield College will once again collaborate with Theatre Royal Wakefield to bring you the Mechanics' Performing Arts Summer Season. Each year, students from across the performing arts and music department showcase their talents in a rip-roaring voyage of theatre, dance and music, at Mechanics’ Theatre, Theatre Royal Wakefield and various music venues within the city.

Dreamtime is the foundation of Australian Aboriginal religion and culture dating back some 65,000 years. This ensemble driven piece takes the audience on a journey of how the universe came to be, how human beings were created and how their Creator intended for humans to function within the world as they knew it.

Performed by Wakefield College Mechanics’ Level 2 Performing Arts Students.
